Hailee Steinfield says 'It was bad timing,' clears Lea Michele on snubbing controversy

Before receiving her award as Best New Actress from the 16th Annual Critics Choice Award, "True Grit" actress Haile Steinfield chatted with MTV News about crying when "Glee" star Lea Michele snubbed her during an encounter.

Steinfield told MTV News that the encounter was basically just bad timing. The break out actress recalled, "When I auditioned for 'True Grit,' I was on the Paramount lot, and that's where they film 'Glee,' and I saw her after my audition and I was wearing, like, 1800's period clothing, It was so embarrassing.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association honored Little Fockers actor Robert De Niro with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award during the Golden Globe awards ceremony Sunday.

The award is given to professionals in the movie industry who have made an exemplary contribution to the movie industry throughout their career. It was named after one of the most successful film director/producer Cecil B DeMille.

Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that Anne Hathaway, star of Love and Other Drugs, expressed interest in starring in the hit TV musical as Chris Colfer’s lesbian aunt.

According to Murphy, Hathaway presented the whole episode and she even came up with the songs.

The Glee co-creator said, "I love her and would definitely be interested.”

Meanwhile, Murphy’s co-creator Brad Falchuk, also spoke to THR about the Super Bowl episode of Glee and he proudly said that Katie Couric will guest star on the show and the episode

It has been a great year for The Social Network, Natalie Portman and Colin Firth.

After receiving honors from the recently concluded Critics’ Choice Awards, The Social Network once again received the Best Motion Picture Award (Drama) while Natalie Portman (Black Swan) and Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) were named Best Actress/Actor for Motion Picture in a drama at the 68th Golden Globe Awards this evening.

You know that Hollywood water we’ve been talking about for a week or so? It just got a little bit scarier.

Jane Krakowski is now pregnant.

Well, the pregnancy didn’t happen last week, but it happened within the last few months. Jane and her long time fiancé were caught on the beach and Jane was sporting a huge baby bump for all to see!

Jane is on 30 Rock, but the show’s writers said her pregnancy will not be written in the script.

Owen Wilson is officially a dad!

It was just days ago that we found out his girlfriend Jade Duell was even pregnant.

Now, we hear she’s delivered the baby in a Hawaiian hospital over the weekend.  Wow!  Owen did manage to keep that BIG secret for a stunning length of time!

His rep confirmed the news that they delivered a baby boy and they named him Ford Linton Wilson.

The Social Network continues to receive recognition from award giving bodies.

The film received another Best Picture Award from the Broadcast Film Critics Association during  the 16th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, which took place at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, January 14th.

Natalie Portman won the Best Actress Award for her performance as an ambitious ballerina in “Black Swan” while Colin Firth earned the Best Actor Award in the movie “The King’s Speech” for his role as King George VI who triumphs over a daunting stammer

Courteney Cox says Cougar Town was 'saving grace'

When Courteney Cox got married to actor David Arquette while on the hit comedy show Friends, everyone thought that the relationship was a secure, long-term one between a couple that were meant to be together.

However, sadly the marriage did not last, and the couple split up last October.

Courteney Cox has now spoken out in a recent interview, stating that being involved with Cougar Town has been her 'saving grace' in terms of helping her to get through her personal issues.
