Apparently the documentary was right: Conan O'Brien really can't stop. In just a couple of years, the man has gone from "Tonight Show" host to unemployed to touring comedian to talk show host on TBS. Now, Conan is working on a brand new comedy pilot for his host network.
The project will be a multi-camera sitcom, much along the lines of the other original shows currently running on TBS.

The 84-year-old driver who accidentally struck a jogging Reese Witherspoon now claims she isn't entirely to blame. She claims that a large tree at the junction where she hit Witherspoon would block any driver's sight line, making further accidents possible.
According to TMZ, the woman - who is due today to take retake her driver's test as ordered by law - feels "terrible" about accidentally hitting the jogging "Walk The Line" Academy Award winner at a Santa Monica intersection Sept.

Petra Ecclestone - 22-year-old Croatian-English model, fashion designer, socialite and heiress to former Armani model Slavica and Formula 1 racing billionaire Bernie Ecclestone - recently made an American name for herself by purchasing Candy Spelling's 57,000 square-foot former Holmby Hills mansion for a cool $85 million.

The documentary chronicles transforming the place where the once-iconic World Trade Center stood - and on September 11, 2001, fell - into a 16-acre complex that memorializes what every American lost that day, and has fought to regain since.

It was a rough weekend at the box office. Although "Contagion" put forth a valiant effort, others like "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star" bombed completely. "Contagion," which imagines a world in which an incurable, highly contagious, highly fatal form of the bird flu spreads without containment, earned about $23.1 million over the weekend.

Not that I want Chris Brown associated with anything near an all-time favorite movie, but if I may borrow a favorite "The Usual Suspects" line, this guy is protected from on high by the Prince of Darkness. According to recent reports, the troubled and controversial singer-rapper had accrued a staggering 117 parking violations, many claiming he illegally took handicapped-parking spaces at his Los Angeles condo.
