'The Hunger Games' To Screen In China

In a somewhat surprising move given the film's subtext, the producers of "The Hunger Games" series announced that the first film will screen in China in 2012. Only 20 or so films are approved every year by Chinese authorities. It will not, however, be released there in IMAX.

In case you needed proof that the hype around the newest movie in the "Twilight" saga, "Breaking Dawn," was legit, look no further than the box office pre-sales for the film's premiere. Fandango and MovieTickets.com have reportedly already sold out over 2,300 screens around the country.
