Ep 1. The Boy From Planet Zi

In the first episode of Zoids Chaotic Century, titled "The Boy From Planet Zi," we are introduced to a boy named Van, who dreams of one day piloting a Zoid, a mechanical animal-like fighting machine. Van lives on Planet Zi, a world ravaged by centuries of warfare and destruction. Despite the dangers, Van is determined to explore the ruins scattered throughout his planet.

One day, while exploring the ruins, Van stumbles upon a mysterious girl named Fiona who has been in suspended animation for many years. Not only that, but she also possesses a special power that allows her to communicate with and control Zoids. Van and Fiona quickly become friends, and the two embark on a journey to uncover the secrets of Fiona's past and the strange Zoid she was discovered with.

As they make their way through the wasteland of Planet Zi, Van and Fiona encounter various factions vying for power in the post-apocalyptic world, including the evil imperial forces of the Guylos Empire, who seek to control all Zoids. Van's own Zoid, a small and scrappy red Liger, seems no match for the powerful enemy Zoids he faces. But with his determination and a little of Fiona's magic, Van proves that he is more than capable of holding his own in battle.

This first episode sets up an expansive and imaginative sci-fi world filled with both wonder and danger, boasting unique and memorable designs for the Zoids themselves. Van and Fiona's friendship and their quest to uncover Fiona's past provide emotional stakes amidst the action, setting the stage for an exciting adventure that spans many episodes to come.
