Zig & Sharko is a French animated television series that revolves around a hyena named Zig, who is constantly trying to catch and eat a mermaid named Marina, but is always foiled by her protector, a shark named Sharko.
In season 3 episode 27, titled "Grounded!", Zig finds himself in a bit of a predicament when he accidentally receives a "cease and desist" order from the authorities. The notice prohibits him from chasing Marina or engaging in any other activities that might be deemed harmful to the environment.
At first, Zig is devastated by the news and tries to come up with a plan to circumvent the order. He tries to enlist the help of his friend Bernie, a hermit crab, to lure Marina into his clutches. However, he quickly realizes that he could get into serious trouble if he continues to violate the order.
Meanwhile, Marina and Sharko are enjoying the newfound peace and quiet that has come with Zig's temporary behavioural change. Marina decides to take advantage of the situation by exploring the ocean floor and making new friends, while Sharko indulges in his favourite pastime of playing the guitar.
Despite the initial setback, Zig soon discovers that he can still have fun without harming the environment. He takes up gardening, tries to start a band with Bernie, and even becomes a lifeguard. But the temptation to catch Marina is never far away, and he struggles to resist the urge to resume his pursuit.
As the episode progresses, Zig becomes increasingly frustrated with his inability to chase Marina. He starts to feel like he's being punished for something he didn't do, and begins to hatch a plan to clear his name and get back to his old ways.
The climax of the episode features an elaborate scheme that Zig has concocted to trick the authorities into thinking that he has reformed. He tries to convince Marina and Sharko to help him, but they are skeptical of his intentions.
In the end, Zig is forced to face the consequences of his actions and learns an important lesson about respecting the environment. He realizes that there are other ways to have fun and make friends without resorting to violence or destruction.
