Zig & Sharko is a French animated television series that follows the antics of a hyena named Zig as he tries to catch and eat a mermaid named Marina, while her friend the shark named Sharko tries to protect her.

In season 2 episode 46, titled "Hair Do, Hair Don't," Marina discovers a new hair salon on the island and wants to get a new hairstyle. She enlists the help of Sharko, who is more than happy to assist her. However, Zig overhears their conversation and sees an opportunity to finally catch Marina.

Zig decides to disguise himself as a hairdresser and open a competing salon right next door to Marina's preferred salon. He manages to attract Marina's attention with his outrageous hairdos and convinces her to come to his salon for a new hairstyle.

As Zig is working on Marina's hair, Sharko becomes suspicious of Zig's true motives and decides to keep a close eye on him. Meanwhile, other characters on the island, such as a group of crabs and a flock of seagulls, also become interested in Zig's salon, causing chaos and mayhem.

As the story unfolds, Zig and Sharko both try to outdo each other with wild hairstyles and schemes. Marina becomes caught in the middle of their competition, not realizing the danger she is in. Eventually, things come to a head and a confrontation between Zig and Sharko ensues.

Overall, "Hair Do, Hair Don't" is a fun and light-hearted episode of Zig & Sharko that follows the series' classic formula of Zig trying to catch Marina and Sharko trying to protect her. The addition of a hair salon competition adds a fresh twist to the story and allows for lots of creative and visually interesting animation. Fans of the show will enjoy seeing the characters in new situations and new hairstyles.
