Ep 27. Bodyguard

Zig & Sharko season 2 episode 27, titled "Bodyguard," is a wild adventure featuring the show's beloved cast of characters. The episode revolves around an unusual scenario- Zig, the mischievous hyena, decides to become a bodyguard for Marina, his lifelong crush. However, his rival, the determined and steadfast Sharko, isn't too keen on letting Zig come anywhere near Marina, leading to some explosive conflict between the two.

The episode begins with Zig devising a plan to become Marina's bodyguard. He believes that this will not only help him in his mission to capture her, but also prove his worthiness to her. So, he sets out to learn everything he can about being a bodyguard. From studying self-defense techniques to learning how to identify potential threats, Zig throws himself into the role with dedication.

Meanwhile, Sharko is suspicious of Zig's actions. He knows that Zig is up to something, and he's not going to let him get anywhere near Marina. Sharko is fiercely protective of Marina, and he's determined to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. So, he too sets out to learn everything he can about being a bodyguard.

As the two rivals train separately, they both grow increasingly skilled. Zig learns how to scale walls and dodge attacks, while Sharko perfects his techniques for taking down enemies. However, as they both become more skilled, they both become more convinced that they are the best candidate for Marina's bodyguard.

When Marina learns about Zig's and Sharko's plans to become her bodyguard, she's amused but also a little worried. She knows that both Zig and Sharko are skilled, but she doesn't want them to fight over her. So, she decides to put their skills to the test. She creates a dangerous obstacle course and challenges both Zig and Sharko to complete it with her as the prize.

The obstacle course proves to be incredibly difficult, with challenges such as traversing a rope bridge, dodging swinging pendulums, and scaling a tall wall. Zig and Sharko both struggle through the course, but they are determined to win. As they progress, they both get closer and closer to Marina, each trying to outdo the other.

Finally, the two rivals reach the final stage of the obstacle course- a steep, rocky cliff face. Marina is waiting at the top, beckoning them to come and get her. Zig and Sharko both begin to scale the cliff in a heart-pumping chase to reach Marina first.

As they near the top, Zig makes a reckless move and nearly falls off the cliff. Sharko, seeing his rival in danger, abandons his pursuit of Marina and rushes to save Zig. Using his bodyguard training, Sharko secures Zig and helps him to safety.

In the end, Zig, Sharko, and Marina all end up safe and sound back on the beach. Marina thanks them both for their bravery and skill, but reminds them that she doesn't need a bodyguard- she can take care of herself. As the episode comes to a close, Zig and Sharko share a begrudging nod of respect, each realizing that the other is a worthy adversary.
