Ep 5. The slick

Zig & Sharko is a French animated series that follows the daily adventures of Zig, a hyena, and his ongoing pursuit of Marina, a pretty mermaid. This episode, titled "The Slick," is the fifth episode of the first season.

At the start of the episode, Zig is seen relaxing in a hammock when he hears the sound of Marina swimming in the sea. In an attempt to catch her, Zig devises a plan to make himself look more appealing to Marina. He finds a bottle of oil on the beach and uses it to slick back his fur, making himself look more dashing. However, things don't go as planned, and Zig's slick appearance attracts the attention of a group of tourists who think he is a rare animal.

As the tourists swarm around him, Zig realizes that he needs to get away. He attempts to flee, but the tourists are too fast for him. Desperate, Zig climbs a tree, hoping to hide from the tourists, but he is quickly discovered. Just as he thinks his luck has run out, he hears the sound of Sharko approaching.

Sharko, a fierce shark and Marina's protector, sees Zig in trouble and decides to help him out. He confronts the tourists, using his strength to intimidate them and sending them running away in fear. With the tourists gone, Sharko turns to Zig and demands to know what he is doing there. Zig explains that he was trying to impress Marina and apologizes for any trouble he's caused.

Sharko decides to help Zig out and gives him a makeover, making him look more appealing to Marina. Zig is overjoyed by the transformation, and with Sharko's help, he hopes to finally win the heart of his beloved Marina.

As they finish up the makeover, they hear Marina calling for help. Zig and Sharko rush to her aid and discover that she is trapped in a fishing net. The two animals work together to free her, and once Marina is safe, Zig decides to put his new look to the test.

He approaches Marina, who is initially taken aback by his appearance, but she soon takes a liking to him. Zig is thrilled to see that his makeover has worked, and he takes Marina out for a romantic evening on the beach.

In the end, Zig realizes that he didn't need a makeover to win Marina's heart. All he needed was to be himself. Marina is drawn to Zig's unique personality, and she loves him for who he is, not for what he looks like.

"The Slick" is a fun, lighthearted episode that showcases the humorous antics of Zig and Sharko. With its charming characters, colorful animation, and action-packed storyline, it's no wonder that Zig & Sharko has become a hit with audiences of all ages.
