Ep 49. Goin' Home

Zig & Sharko season 1 episode 49, titled "Goin' Home," follows Zig, a hyena, as he tries to return to his home in the savannah. Sharko, a protective shark, attempts to thwart Zig's plans to reach the other side of the island and leave his home behind for good.

Zig has a plan to escape the island on a makeshift raft, but Sharko notices his attempts and intervenes. Sharko's first attempt to stop Zig involves attaching a rope to his raft and pulling it back to shore. This doesn't discourage Zig, who instead decides to build a homemade hot air balloon to carry him to freedom.

Sharko catches wind of Zig's new plan and prepares to stop him again. This time, Sharko attempts to puncture the balloon with a seashell, but Zig is able to evade him with a clever maneuver. Zig successfully flies over the ocean and approaches the savannah.

As Zig approaches his homeland, he begins to wrestle with his feelings of leaving his old life behind. He remembers his childhood home and his family, and he begins to question if leaving the island is really what he wants. Meanwhile, Sharko tries to find a way to bring Zig back to the island, fearing that his departure will upset the balance of their ecosystem.

Zig eventually lands in the savannah and reunites with his family. However, he soon realizes that his presence is causing havoc among the natural wildlife. He decides to return to the island and tries to make peace with Sharko, who is still protective of the island and its inhabitants.

In the end, Zig and Sharko reach an understanding and learn to coexist peacefully together. The episode ends on a heartwarming note as Zig settles back into his life on the island, happy to call it home once again.
