Ep 1. King Neptune's court

Zig & Sharko is an animated television series about a hyena named Zig who wants to eat a mermaid named Marina. Marina lives in a quiet lagoon guarded by her friend Sharko, a fierce yet protective shark. The show follows the hilarious hijinks that ensue when Zig tries to catch Marina while evading the wrath of Sharko.

In the first episode of the series, titled "King Neptune's Court," Marina receives an invitation to King Neptune's annual underwater ball. As the ball begins, it becomes clear that Zig is a terrible dancer and fails to impress anyone with his moves. Sharko, on the other hand, wows the crowd with his delicate and graceful dances. Zig becomes increasingly desperate and resorts to cheating to win the dance competition.

The competition comes down to the final dance, with Sharko and Zig set to face off against each other. Zig, having rigged the stage to give himself an unfair advantage, begins to dance. However, Marina quickly realizes that Zig is cheating and reveals his true identity to the court.

King Neptune, angered by Zig's deceit, banishes him from the kingdom forever. Marina thanks Sharko for his kindness and the two share a touching moment. As the episode comes to a close, Zig is seen floating away on a raft, defeated and hungry.

Overall, "King Neptune's Court" is a fun and engaging first episode that sets the tone for the rest of the series.
