In Yukon Gold season 4 episode 7, titled "Hurts Like Hell," the stakes are higher than ever as the miners face difficult challenges and unexpected setbacks.
As the mining season approaches its end, the crews are racing against the clock to uncover as much gold as possible before the ground freezes over. But Mother Nature seems to be working against them, as unseasonably warm temperatures are causing the ground to thaw and turn to slush, making the already treacherous terrain even more dangerous.
For Karl, this means risking life and limb to retrieve his equipment from a particularly risky area before it's too late. Meanwhile, Bernie is forced to confront his own mortality as he faces a potentially deadly accident.
Elsewhere, Cam and his crew hit a major setback when their sluice box breaks down, and they must scramble to find a replacement before their season comes to a premature end.
As tensions rise and tempers flare, the miners must call upon all of their knowledge, experience, and sheer determination to overcome these daunting obstacles and emerge victorious in their quest for Yukon gold.
