- October 8, 2002
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters season 3 episode 38, "Three Knights to Call a God [Clash in the Coliseum, Part 2]" continues the intense duel between Yugi and Kaiba. The episode picks up where the previous one left off, with Kaiba summoning his powerful Blue-Eyes White Dragon to attack Yugi's Dark Magician. However, Yugi quickly responds by activating his Mirror Force trap card, reflecting Kaiba's attack back at him and forcing him to discard four cards.
As the duel continues, Kaiba becomes increasingly desperate to defeat Yugi and summon the powerful Egyptian God cards. He activates his Ancient Rules card to summon his Blue-Eyes White Dragon again, but Yugi counters with his Dark Magician Knight, which gains power each time one of Yugi's monster cards is destroyed. Yugi's strategy proves successful, and Kaiba's Blue-Eyes White Dragon is destroyed.
Determined not to give up, Kaiba activates a special card called the Seal of Orichalcos, which boosts the powers of his remaining monsters and also traps Yugi and his friends in the virtual world of the Coliseum. Kaiba reveals that he intends to summon all three Egyptian God cards, and challenges Yugi to a final showdown.
Meanwhile, Joey, Tristan, and Tea are trapped in the virtual world of the Coliseum and must find a way to escape before it's too late. They encounter a group of mysterious knights who offer to help them, but it soon becomes clear that they have their own hidden agenda.
Back in the duel, Yugi and Kaiba are evenly matched as they both summon powerful monsters to the field. But Yugi has a trick up his sleeve - the Knight of Destiny card, which allows him to combine the strengths of his Dark Magician and Dark Magician Knight. With this powerful new monster, Yugi is finally able to defeat Kaiba's formidable Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
As the virtual world of the Coliseum begins to crumble, Yugi and his friends are reunited and make their escape. But Kaiba is not done yet - he activates the Seal of Orichalcos one last time and summons the Egyptian God cards. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Yugi facing the formidable Obelisk the Tormentor and uncertain of his fate.
