The next day, Yugi and his friends are at school when they receive a mysterious message on their cell phones. The message warns them that a new evil is rising, and that they must be prepared to face it. Yugi, Joey, and Tea try to brush it off as a prank, but Tristan is convinced that there is something more sinister at play.
Later that day, the friends meet up at the museum to investigate the source of the darkness. They discover that the stone they were observing has gone missing, and that strange things are happening inside the museum. As they explore, they are attacked by a group of monsters who are intent on stealing their souls.
Yugi and his friends manage to fend off the monsters, but they are left with a feeling of unease.
