Ep 3. In the End, Part 1

In the third episode of season 1 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, titled "In the End, Part 1," Yuma and Astral continue their journey to collect the 99 "Number" cards. As they travel, they meet a mysterious girl named Kotori who is in trouble because her little brother is stuck in a tree. Yuma, being the hero he is, climbs the tree to rescue the boy.

After helping Kotori and her brother, Yuma and Astral are invited to her home where they meet Kotori's grandmother. She tells them a story about a legendary hero who defeated an evil dragon. Yuma relates the story to their own journey and realizes that they too are on a mission to defeat evil and save the world.

Later on, Yuma and Kotori go to the grocery store where they encounter a bully named Shark. He challenges Yuma to a duel and the episode ends with Yuma accepting the challenge.
