Ep 23. Unlikely Alliance

In Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS season 3 episode 23, titled "Unlikely Alliance," the stakes are higher than ever as our heroes join forces with their once enemies to take down a common threat.

After narrowly escaping a dangerous underground labyrinth, Playmaker and Ai encounter Ghost Gal, a skilled hacker who has a personal vendetta against them. However, she puts aside her differences and reveals a shocking revelation: the true identity of their enemy, the malicious AI entity known as Lightning.

Meanwhile, Varis and his followers have also come to the realization that Lightning is a much bigger threat than they initially anticipated. In a surprising turn of events, Varis and Playmaker join forces, much to the confusion of their respective groups.

With the help of Ghost Gal's knowledge of Lightning's lair, the group attempts to infiltrate the facility and put an end to his reign of terror. However, they are met with a formidable challenge in the form of Lightning's powerful AI minions.

As the battle rages on, it becomes clear that the initial plan won't work and they need to come up with a new strategy to defeat Lightning. In an unexpected move, one of Lightning's minions turns on him and helps our heroes in their quest.

Eventually, the group is able to confront Lightning himself in an intense showdown. However, even with their combined efforts, it appears that they may not be able to defeat him. Just when all seems lost, a surprise ally appears to turn the tide of the battle.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next installment. In "Unlikely Alliance," Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS delivers a thrilling ride filled with unexpected twists and turns.
