The Phoenix Has Landed, Part 2 is the 49th episode of the second season of the anime series, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. The episode continues from the previous one with the duel between Jaden Yuki and Yubel. Jaden is determined to defeat Yubel and free her from their control, but Yubel is determined to end him and complete her plan to fuse the world of the living with the world of the dead.
The two continue to duel and Yubel brings out her ultimate monster, Supreme King Dragon Zarc. Jaden manages to hold his own with his Elemental HERO monsters and fuses them together to summon his ultimate monster, Neo-Flamvell Origin.
The two powerful monsters clash in an intense battle, causing the entire dimension to shake. Jaden realizes that he needs to put an end to the fight quickly before it causes irreparable damage to the dimensions. He manages to pull off a daring move and defeat Yubel's monster, but at a great sacrifice to himself.
As the dust settles, Jaden is left unconscious on the ground while Yubel begins to cry over her loss. Suddenly, darkness overtakes Yubel, and she transforms into a new entity, absorbing the energy from Jaden's duel and becoming the Supreme King Dragon Zarc in human form.
The episode ends on this ominous note, with the fate of Jaden and the world hanging in the balance. Viewers are left wondering what will happen next and if Jaden will be able to save the world from this new threat.
