Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell is a dark comedy series that airs on Adult Swim. In season 4 episode 3, titled 'Omgouija,' we see the main character of the series, Gary, continuing his work as a demon and trying to climb the corporate ladder in Hell.
In this episode, Gary is tasked with finding a new way to torture souls in Hell. He comes up with the idea of using an Ouija board as a tool to bring out the deepest fears of the damned. Gary's colleagues are skeptical of his idea but they are eventually convinced to try it out. They use the board to communicate with a resident of Hell named Sheryl who was a high school guidance counselor in her previous life.
Gary and his colleagues begin to ask Sheryl about her past, hoping to find out what makes her tick. They eventually uncover that Sheryl's biggest fear was being stuck in a high school for all eternity, trying to guide lost souls. Gary sees an opportunity here and decides to use Sheryl's fears to torture her. He sets up a fake high school and has Sheryl believe that she is there to guide lost souls. It soon becomes apparent that Sheryl is not cut out for this kind of work and is starting to panic.
Meanwhile, Gary's boss, Satan, is impressed with Gary's new idea and assigns him a new task. He wants Gary to bring an ancient demon back to life using the Ouija board. Gary is initially excited about this but becomes increasingly worried as he realizes that he may have accidentally summoned a powerful and ancient demon that he cannot control.
As the episode progresses, we see Gary frantically trying to figure out how to get rid of the demon while still trying to continue to torture Sheryl. He also has to deal with his colleague Claude, who is becoming increasingly suspicious of Gary's behavior. The tension starts to rise as we approach the climax of the episode.
