The F Word is the sixth episode of the seventh season of the popular comedy-drama series Younger. The episode revolves around Liza Miller (Sutton Foster), a 40-something woman who poses as a 20-something in order to get a job in a highly competitive publishing industry. As the episode begins, Liza is trying to navigate her relationships with both Josh (Nico Tortorella), her former flame, and Charles (Peter Hermann), her boss and love interest.

At Empirical Press, Kelsey Peters (Hilary Duff) is trying to close a book deal with an acclaimed author named Cornelia Wickham, who has just signed a memoir titled "The F Word." Kelsey is excited about the book, but Charles is wary, as the author has a reputation for being difficult to work with. In a meeting with Cornelia, Kelsey is surprised to find that the memoir is actually about the author's failed marriage, and the F word in question is "fidelity."

Meanwhile, back at Liza's apartment, Maggie (Debi Mazar) is hosting a game night with Liza, Lauren (Molly Bernard), and Josh. The group agrees to play a game of truth or dare, and when it's Liza's turn, she is asked if she would rather be with Josh or Charles. To everyone's surprise, Liza answers honestly, and the game takes an awkward turn as the group struggles to navigate Liza's admission.

At work the next day, tensions are high as Kelsey and Charles disagree about how to handle Cornelia's difficult behavior. Kelsey wants to give the author free rein to promote her book however she sees fit, but Charles is worried that she will damage the reputation of Empirical Press. The conflict between Kelsey and Charles comes to a head when Kelsey goes behind his back and allows Cornelia to speak to the press without approval.

Outside of work, Liza meets with Caitlin (Tessa Albertson), her daughter, who is struggling with her own relationship issues. Caitlin reveals that she's been seeing a married man, and Liza tries to convince her to end the relationship before someone gets hurt.

As the episode comes to a close, Liza and Charles have a heart-to-heart conversation about their feelings for each other, but Liza ultimately decides to stick with her commitment to Josh. Meanwhile, Kelsey is surprised to find that Cornelia has taken her advice and spoken candidly about her marriage in the press, resulting in a wave of controversy and publicity for her book.

The F Word is a fast-paced and entertaining episode that explores the themes of love, loyalty, and the importance of honesty in relationships. Fans of the show will enjoy the witty banter and high-stakes plot twists, as well as the nuanced performances of the talented ensemble cast. Whether you're a diehard fan or a newcomer to the series, The F Word is sure to leave you wanting more of the drama, romance, and humor that makes Younger such a beloved show.
