In the ninth episode of the first season of the British television series, Young Dracula, titled "The Sleepover", Vlad is invited to a sleepover by one of his classmates, Chloe who is the daughter of one of his father's enemies. Vlad accepts the invitation and it becomes quite awkward when he realizes that the sleepover isn't like the ones he's seen on television.
Chloe and her friends sit around in their pajamas and try on makeup, posturing as older than they really are. Vlad is taken aback but tries his best to fit in. When everyone is asleep, Chloe sneaks up on Vlad and takes a few playful pictures of him, promising to share them with everyone else.
Back home, Ingrid the family's former housekeeper, comes to babysit the younger Dracula girl, who is a nuisance and keeps visiting Vlad's bedroom. Ingrid notices the photographs of Vlad on Chloe's phone, realizes he's vulnerable, and blackmails him - unless he hands over the mysterious Book of the Undead, which is said to contain very dark and dangerous knowledge and is currently held by the unsuspecting Count.
Back at the sleepover, the girls duct tape an unsuspecting student to a basketball pole and smear various other pranks on a couple of boys in the same year group as Vlad. With the prank wars escalating, Chloe eventually reveals Vlad's true identity to the entire group, which inflames the antagonism simmering between the rival vampire families to new heights.
Vlad escapes unscathed due to his immunity to such childish pranks, uses his supernatural powers as a vampire to camouflage all traces of his existence and slinks into his bed gracefully concealed by the cover of the night. He contemplates how to give Ingrid what she's asking for. Meanwhile, Ingrid receives a shock of her own when, after reading the book for a brief period, she cannot resist the power it exudes.
Ultimately, the episode 'The sleepover' ends with Chloe realising how dangerous her own machinations are and apologizes to Vlad. Vlad, however, is yet to come up with a plan to keep the book from Ingrid before it's too late.
