As Keita and his friends continue their quest to collect all the Yo-kai medals, they encounter a mysterious and powerful new Yo-kai: the Dark Yo-kai Watch. This new watch seems to be leading them down a dangerous path, and they soon find themselves embroiled in a dark and dangerous plot.

Meanwhile, Komasan and Koma-jiro are on a tour of Japan to promote their beloved local delicacy, Mongee bananas. Their journey takes them to Kagawa, where they encounter a host of new Yo-kai and some unexpected challenges.
