The episode opens with Inaho and UsaPyon starting a new case for their detective agency. The Case of the Boring Yo-Kai Murders has been causing a stir in the Yo-Kai world and Inaho is determined to solve it. Meanwhile, Nate and Whisper meet a new Yo-Kai named Momotaronyan who has three loyal attendants. Momotaronyan needs Nate's help to find his lost sword and the three attendants join in the search.

The three attendants show their loyalty and bravery in protecting their master and the sword. Eventually, they find the sword and Momotaronyan rewards Nate and his Yo-Kai friends for their help.
To top off the episode, there is a Classic Yo-Kai Halloween Party where all the Yo-Kai get dressed up in spooky costumes and play games. The party is filled with treats and tricks, including a game where they have to guess each other's Yo-Kai inspirations.
