Komasan, the country yokai, finds himself struggling to adapt to life in the big city in the episode "Komasan and the City: Urban Living." He's not used to the hustle and bustle of urban living and feels out of place among the bright lights and towering skyscrapers. To make matters worse, he's constantly mistaken for a dog and runs into several embarrassing situations.
However, things start to turn around when Komasan runs into a friendly city yokai named Buhu. Buhu is a mischievous spirit who loves to play pranks on humans, and she takes Komasan under her wing to help him adjust to city life. Together, they explore the city and have all sorts of fun adventures, from riding the subway to visiting a food truck festival.
As Komasan becomes more comfortable in the city, he begins to realize that there are other yokai like him who have made the city their home. He meets a variety of urban yokai, each with their own unique personalities and quirks. Along the way, he learns that just because they live in a different environment doesn't mean they're any less yokai than he is.
Meanwhile, Whisper and Nate are back in the suburbs dealing with their own problems. Whisper is obsessed with the legend of the legendary yokai Shogunyan, a powerful battle yokai that supposedly dwells in the mountains. He's convinced that Shogunyan is the key to becoming the most powerful yokai in the world, and he spends all his time researching and scheming. Nate, on the other hand, is more concerned with the everyday problems of his school and his friends.
The two storylines eventually intersect when Komasan and Buhu stumble upon a strange golden statue in the middle of the city. They soon discover that it's a monument to Shogunyan, and the legend begins to take on a life of its own. Whisper becomes convinced that Shogunyan is real and sets out on a mission to find him, even if it means endangering himself and his friends.
In the end, Komasan and Buhu must team up with Nate and Whisper to solve a mystery involving Shogunyan, the golden statue, and a powerful new yokai that threatens the city. Along the way, they'll learn important lessons about teamwork, friendship, and the true meaning of being a yokai.
