Ep 3. Spare Parts

In the fourth season of Yes, Dear, episode 3 titled "Spare Parts," Greg and Jimmy find themselves in a sticky situation when they try to replace a broken bathroom fan. The episode opens with Greg and Jimmy working on the fan, which they accidentally break. They realize that they need to replace it, but they also know that they cannot afford to hire a professional to do it for them.
After some brainstorming, Greg and Jimmy decide to venture into the world of DIY home repairs. They head to the hardware store and ask for advice on how to replace the fan. The store clerk gives them some tips, and they confidently head back to their apartment to get started.
The task proves to be more challenging than they anticipated, and they soon find themselves in over their heads. They struggle to remove the old fan and install the new one. Their attempts are comical and often disastrous, with Jimmy accidentally breaking a pipe and Greg getting his hand stuck in the wall.
As the day wears on, their frustration grows, and they begin to argue with each other. They start to blame each other for the mess they have created, and their friendship is put to the test. However, they eventually come to realize that they are better off working together, and they finally manage to install the new fan.
Meanwhile, Kim and Christine are dealing with a different kind of problem. They decide to have a yard sale to get rid of some old clothes and toys that their children have outgrown. The sale proves to be successful, but they find themselves facing a difficult ethical dilemma.
A woman shows up at their sale and tries to haggle them down to an impossibly low price for a set of expensive toys. Kim and Christine suspect that the woman is trying to buy the toys to resell them for a higher price. They debate whether or not to sell the toys to her, knowing that it might be unfair to give her a steal of a deal.
Their decision is complicated by the fact that the toys were given to them by a friend, who wanted them to go to a good home. They ultimately decide to sell the toys to the woman, but at a higher price than she anticipated. The woman reluctantly agrees, and leaves the sale with her purchase.
In the end, the episode ends on a lighthearted note as the couples reflect on their experiences. Greg and Jimmy are relieved to have successfully installed the new fan, and Kim and Christine are happy to have made some extra money. They all agree that it was a stressful day, but one that brought them closer together.
