They’re soon hooked on collecting and start to search for rare comic books online and at local stores. Even though they’re supposed to be working, Jimmy and Greg sneak out during their lunch breaks to hunt for comic books.
Kim and Christine planned to have a relaxing day at a spa, but their plans get derailed when they spot a trendy new store. They decide to pop in for a look, but they end up getting caught up in the excitement and trying on different outfits. Their fun day out turns into a shopping spree, and they end up buying more than they planned.
As Jimmy and Greg’s obsession with collecting comic books grows, their girlfriends start to get annoyed. Kim and Christine are tired of hearing about comic books all the time and wish their boyfriends would focus on something else. However, Jimmy and Greg refuse to give up their new hobby.
To make matters worse, Jimmy and Greg’s boss catches them sneaking out during work hours to look for comic books. The two are lectured about the importance of work and are told to focus on their jobs. Despite their solemn promises, Jimmy and Greg can’t help themselves and continue to hunt for rare comic books.
Finally, Kim and Christine confront their boyfriends about their obsession with comic books. They explain how it’s been affecting their relationship and ask them to try and find a balance between their hobby and their relationship. Jimmy and Greg finally realize how much their girlfriends mean to them and agree to tone down their collecting.
In the end, Kim and Christine surprise Jimmy and Greg with tickets to a basketball game, combining both of their interests. The two couples spend a fun evening together, and Jimmy and Greg realize that they don’t need to give up their hobby entirely to make their girlfriends happy. They can still enjoy collecting comic books, but they’ll make sure to focus on their relationships first.
