Ep 5. Getting Wet In China

In the fifth episode of the second season of Xtreme Waterparks, titled "Getting Wet In China," viewers are taken on a wild ride through several of China's most thrilling and awe-inspiring water parks. The episode then takes a more scenic turn, as Jeff visits the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. Here, he encounters a series of natural rock formations and waterfalls that have been shaped by centuries of erosion. Jeff's mission is to try out the waterslides that have been carved into the smooth, slippery rocks by the flowing water. He dons a helmet and wetsuit and sets off down the cascading streams, trying to keep his balance as he hurtles down the chutes and drops into the pools below.

After his wild ride through the natural waterslides of Tianxingqiao, Jeff heads to the equally wild waterpark at Aqualand in Shanghai. Here, he tries out the "Superbowl," a slide that plunges riders down a steep incline before spitting them out into a large, bowl-shaped bowl. As Jeff spins around and around, he tries to catch his breath and keep from getting completely disoriented.

The episode concludes with a visit to the final park on Jeff's itinerary: the Caribbean Bay Water Park in South Korea. Here, he takes on the "Tower Boomerang," a slide that sends riders plummeting down a 60-foot drop before whipping them up and over a towering wall. Jeff hurtles through the twists and turns, his life flashing before his eyes, before finally splashing down at the bottom and emerging from the pool, soaked and exhilarated.

Overall, "Getting Wet In China" offers a thrilling tour of some of the most exciting and unique water parks in Asia.
