In "X-Men: The Animated Series" season 2 episode 7, fans are treated to a two-part series called "Time Fugitives." This exciting episode features time travel, heroes and villains from different eras, and a desperate fight to save the future.
In part one of "Time Fugitives," we meet a mutant named Cable who has traveled back in time from the future to prevent a devastating plague that will wipe out most of humanity. He seeks out the X-Men to help him find a mutant named Forge, who Cable believes will be crucial in reversing the plague's effects.
Meanwhile, the X-Men are dealing with their own problems. A group of mutants from the future called the "Mutant Liberation Front" has arrived in the present day to assassinate a senator who will eventually become a tyrant in their time. The X-Men must work together to stop the MLF and prevent a violent alteration of history.
As the two groups begin to intersect, everything becomes more complicated. Cable and Forge have a contentious history, and the X-Men aren't sure who to trust among the MLF. On top of everything, the X-Men's greatest enemy, Apocalypse, appears to be behind the plague and could destroy everything.
With action-packed fight scenes, time travel tricks, and a race against the clock, part one of "Time Fugitives" will have viewers on the edge of their seats. The episode sets up a gripping finale, as the X-Men must come together and put aside their differences to save the future.
