Xena: Warrior Princess season 6 episode 17, titled The Last of the Centaurs, follows Xena and Gabrielle as they come across a group of Centaurs who are being hunted by the ruthless Warlord, Belach. As Xena faces off against Belach in a final battle, Gabrielle and the Shaman work to save Xena's life. The battle is intense, and just when it seems like all hope is lost, the Centaurs arrive and join forces with Xena and Gabrielle. Together, they are able to defeat Belach and his army.
In the aftermath of the battle, Xena mourns the loss of Yakut but finds solace in the knowledge that the Centaur tribe can now live in peace, one with their magic and healing abilities once more. Gabrielle, meanwhile, is grateful to have saved Xena's life and reaffirms her commitment to Xena and their journey together.
