Meanwhile, Xena wakes up to find herself in a cell with a fellow prisoner, a woman named Meg who is a notorious thief and liar. The two women form an unlikely bond as they work together to escape from their captors. Meg teaches Xena some new skills, such as how to pick locks and how to trick her way out of tricky situations.
As Gabrielle sets out to rescue Xena, she finds that being a warrior is no easy task. She struggles to fight like Xena and is constantly getting into difficult situations. However, she perseveres and eventually makes it to the village. Once there, she is able to rescue Xena and the two women make their way back to the safety of the forest.
Throughout the episode, there are several comedic moments as Gabrielle tries to impersonate Xena and Xena tries to bond with Meg. As always, there are plenty of fight scenes, showcasing Xena’s impressive fighting skills and Gabrielle’s determination to be a warrior.
