In Episode #872 of WWE Raw season 18, fans are in for a night of high-octane action and drama as some of the biggest names in wrestling go head-to-head in a variety of matches. The show opens with a segment featuring Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Kurt Angle discussing the upcoming Royal Rumble event and the importance of winning the iconic 30-man battle royale. McMahon and Angle also talk briefly about the various matchups scheduled for the night, including a tag team match featuring Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan against Cesaro and Sheamus.

The opening match of the night sees Finn Balor take on Elias in a singles match. Balor, who is known for his incredible athleticism and high-flying moves, puts on a show for the crowd, but Elias proves to be a worthy opponent, showcasing his own strength and agility. In the end, however, Balor manages to secure the victory with a breathtaking coup de grâce from the top rope.

Next up is a tag team match featuring Titus Worldwide (Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews) against The Bar (Cesaro and Sheamus). Both teams are evenly matched, but in the end, it's The Bar who comes out on top, thanks in part to some assistance from the Miz, who interferes in the match on their behalf.

In a women's match, Sasha Banks takes on Sonya Deville in a singles match. Banks, a fan-favorite known for her high-energy performances, dominates much of the match, but Deville proves to be a formidable opponent, with her MMA background making her a force to be reckoned with. The match ends with Banks securing a pinfall victory, but Deville puts up a strong fight and leaves a lasting impression on the crowd.

The fourth match of the night is a singles competition between Woken Matt Hardy and Heath Slater. Hardy, who has undergone a bizarre transformation in recent months, brings his unique energy and charisma to the ring, while Slater holds his own with an impressive display of strength and resilience. In the end, it's Hardy who comes out on top, utilizing his signature move, the Twist of Fate, to secure the win.

One of the highlights of the night is a segment featuring WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate, Paul Heyman. Heyman delivers a characteristically intense promo, hyping up Lesnar's upcoming match against Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble. Strowman himself soon enters the arena, and a heated exchange ensues between the two powerhouse wrestlers, with Lesnar ultimately emerging victorious.

The final match of the night is a tag team match featuring Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan against Cesaro and Sheamus. Jordan, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, proves himself to be an agile and talented wrestler, holding his own against Cesaro and Sheamus, two of the company's biggest and most experienced stars. In the end, however, it is Cesaro and Sheamus who come out on top, thanks in part to some underhanded tactics and interference from the Miz.

Overall, Episode #872 of WWE Raw season 18 is a thrilling night of action and drama, showcasing some of the company's top talent and setting the stage for the upcoming Royal Rumble event.
