In episode three of Worst Cooks in America season 10, titled "All Aboard!," the remaining recruits are faced with their first team challenge. Chef Anne Burrell and Chef Tyler Florence divide the contestants into two teams, the Red team and the Blue team, and task them with cooking for a crowd on a dinner cruise ship.
Before boarding the ship, the teams must first learn how to fillet and prepare a whole fish from scratch. Chef Tyler demonstrates the proper technique and then the recruits are left to their own devices to see if they can replicate what they've just learned.
Once on board the ship, each team must cook and serve a three-course meal for 70 passengers. The Red team decides on a Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring dishes such as an olive tapenade, grilled octopus, and lamb chops. The Blue team opts for a southern-inspired menu featuring dishes such as shrimp and grits, fried chicken, and peach cobbler.
As the teams prepare and cook their meals, chaos ensues in the cramped kitchen space. The recruits struggle with timing, seasoning, and organization. Chef Anne and Chef Tyler watch closely, offering guidance and critiques as needed.
As the meal service begins, the recruits must quickly adapt to the fast-paced environment of the ship's dining room. The pressure mounts as they try to deliver each dish to the passengers in a timely manner and with the proper presentation.
In the end, only one team can be declared the winner, and the losing team will face a pressure test in the next episode. Which team will come out on top, and which recruits will falter under the pressure? Tune in to find out on Worst Cooks in America!
