10. Searching for the Endangered Mountain Gorilla in Rwanda

Rwanda is referred to as the Land of a Thousand Hills. This beautiful, small, landlocked country is home to some of the rarest species of animals on earth including the silverback mountain gorilla. Nate takes a trip out to Volcanoes National Park in hopes of catching a glimpse of the animals in their natural habitat.

Zambia is a landlocked country, named after the great Zambezi river that runs across the western and southern border, ultimately forming Victoria Falls - one of the World's Seven Natural Wonders. Nate goes whitewater rafting, checks out the famed Zambia National Dance Troupe, and rides on a vintage steam engine that offers fine dining and one of the most amazing vantage points of Victoria Falls.

7. The Guinness World Record Abseil of Semonkong, Lesotho

April 20, 2018

World Wide Nate checks an item off his bucketlist abseiling down a 630 ft drop over Maletsunyane Falls in Semonkong, Lesotho. Captivated by the bold patterns of the Basotho Blankets Nate is interested to learn the history behind them. Historian Masetho Letsie teaches World Wide Nate why these blankets are so important to their culture and her family takes Nate in like one of their own.

6. Biking in the Kingdom in the Sky

World Wide Nate heads to "The Kingdom in the Sky" to get dirty in the mountains with some extreme mountain biking. Nate also gets a hands-on lesson about the Basotho culture by learning how to weave the cherished Basotho hat and is challenged with a new kind of adventure in the kitchen when he prepares a traditional dish named "Smiley."
