When Jenny is about to lose her job at Kate's ad agency, she receives a surprising job offer from her ex-boyfriend, Nate. Desperate to keep her job, she secretly accepts the offer, but finds herself torn between taking a job that pays well and staying true to her values. Meanwhile, Kate struggles to balance work and motherhood when her daughter's school project requires more time than she anticipated. She turns to Anne for help, but their different parenting styles clash and cause tension between the two friends. Elsewhere, Frankie tries to navigate a tricky situation with her ex-husband, Giselle faces criticism from her boss, and Ian pursues his dream of becoming a male model, much to the chagrin of his wife, Jenny. As each of the moms deals with their individual struggles, they come to realize the importance of mutual support and understanding in their friendship group.
