The Slump is the 11th episode of the fifth season of the popular comedy show Workaholics. In this episode, the trio of central characters, Adam, Blake, and Ders, find themselves in a creative slump when they are tasked with coming up with a new product idea for their telemarketing job.
The episode opens with Adam, Blake, and Ders sitting in their cubicles at the telemarketing firm TelAmeriCorp, struggling to come up with new product ideas. Blake suggests they try some workout routines to get their creative juices flowing, but after a half-hearted attempt at push-ups and jumping jacks, the three quickly give up.
As they continue to wallow in their slump, the guys reminisce about their glory days in college when they were full of ambition and ideas. They even decide to visit their alma mater to try and recapture some of that energy and inspiration, but their trip ends up being a disaster.
Back at TelAmeriCorp, the guys catch wind of a local pitch competition where they could potentially win $10,000 for their new product idea. They immediately set to work brainstorming and pitching ideas to each other, but nothing seems to stick.
As the deadline for the pitch competition approaches, the guys begin to lose hope. However, a spark of creativity strikes when they happen upon a seemingly mundane item in the office supply closet. This seemingly insignificant discovery leads them down a path of creating a unique and innovative product that just might win them the $10,000 prize.
The Slump is a classic episode of Workaholics that showcases the hilarious antics of Adam, Blake, and Ders as they navigate through the ups and downs of their day jobs.
