The Future Is Gnar is the twentieth episode of Season 3 of Workaholics. The episode follows the usual daily grind of Adam, Blake, and Ders- two recently unemployed telemarketers and one part-time telemarketer amidst a sea of dead-end jobs. However, in the midst of their job search, the boys come across a revolutionary product that they believe has the potential to change the world.
The product, Gnar Tapes, is a cassette tape filled with recordings that are said to be able to induce lucid dreams. Intrigued by the possibility of living out their wildest dreams, the trio decides to test the tapes out. After a night of intense dreaming, they realize that the tapes deliver everything they were promised and more.
However, the boys soon discover that the owner of the Gnar Tapes has gone missing and that they are the only ones in possession of the only remaining tapes. Realizing the financial potential of the tapes, they decide to sell them to the highest bidder. They soon find themselves caught up in a bidding war that leads them down a dangerous path, testing the limits of their friendship and ultimately forcing them to question the true value of their dream-fulfilling product.
As usual, the episode is filled with offbeat humor, irreverent social commentary, and unexpected twists. Viewers will enjoy the usual zany antics of the Workaholics crew as they navigate the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, friendship, and the unexpected repercussions of living out their wildest dreams.
Overall, The Future Is Gnar delivers on the promise of previous Workaholics episodes- a combination of humor, heart, and unabashed dedication to living life on the edge. Fans of the show will not be disappointed with this latest installation of their favorite slacker comedy.
