The episode titled "The Business Trip" is the premiere episode of season 3 of the popular sitcom Workaholics. The episode opens with the three main characters - Adam, Blake, and Ders - getting ready for a business trip to Hedonism II, an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica. They are excited about all the fun they are going to have while at the resort, but little do they know that their boss Alice has other plans for their trip.
Alice informs them that there is a conference they need to attend while they're in Jamaica, and they'll be doing some work for TelAmeriCorp while they're there. The guys are a bit disappointed by this news, but they agree to do the work anyway since Alice is paying for their trip.
Once they arrive at the resort, they quickly realize that they are the only ones there for the conference. The rest of the guests are couples looking to enjoy a romantic vacation. Undeterred, the guys try to make the best of their trip and still have some fun.
However, things start to go awry when the guys accidentally give a keynote speech at the conference while under the influence of drugs. The speech is a complete disaster and makes TelAmeriCorp look bad.
As a result, Alice is furious with them and threatens to fire them if they don't fix the situation. The guys come up with a plan to smooth things over with the other conference attendees and make TelAmeriCorp look good. They end up having to work throughout their entire trip, but they manage to successfully salvage the situation.
Despite having to work through their vacation, the guys still manage to have some fun. They engage in typical Workaholics antics, such as trying different drugs and hitting on women. They also have some heart-to-hearts and show that, despite their wild behavior, they care about each other as friends.
"The Business Trip" is a strong start to season 3 of Workaholics. The episode showcases the show's signature humor and the chemistry between the main cast. It also introduces a new dynamic, with the guys having to balance work and play. Overall, it's a solid episode that sets the tone for the rest of the season.
