The Workaholics season 2 episode 4 titled Model Kombat follows the lives of three best friends- Blake, Adam and Ders, as they navigate their way through their office jobs and hedonistic lifestyles. In this episode, the trio decides to take on a charity event that they hope will boost their careers and reputations. The charity event is a modeling competition, and the three friends must find a model each to participate in the competition.
The episode opens with the three friends arriving at their work, TelAmeriCorp, a telemarketing company. They are clearly bored and disinterested in their jobs, and spend most of their time goofing off and messing around. In an attempt to make an impression on their boss, the friends decide to take part in a charity event. They choose to enter a modeling competition, hoping it will give them exposure and lead to better job opportunities.
The friends must each find a model to enter into the competition. Adam, played by Adam DeVine, picks up a homeless man whom he assumes is a model due to his good looks. Ders, played by Anders Holm, finds a retired model who is willing to come out of retirement to participate in the competition. Blake, played by Blake Anderson, finds a high school student whom he believes has the potential to become a model.
Throughout the episode, the friends struggle to train their models for the competition. Adam's model, whom he names Homeless Bro, is completely clueless and only interested in alcohol and partying. Ders' model, Jackie, is very difficult to work with and doesn't take the competition seriously. Blake's model, Tiffany, is obsessed with Blink-182 and doesn't seem to have any interest in modeling.
The day of the competition arrives, and the friends and their models are all nervous. When they arrive, they find out that the competition is actually a fight competition. Each model must compete in a martial arts tournament. The friends are shocked and concerned about their models' safety, but they have no choice but to go through with it.
The fights are brutal, and the models are all injured to some extent. However, Homeless Bro surprises everyone with his great fighting skills, and he manages to make it to the final round. The final fight is Homeless Bro versus Jackie. Homeless Bro wins the fight and becomes the champion of the competition.
The friends are thrilled with the outcome. They have finally achieved some success, and they feel like things are finally starting to look up for them. They are also happy that they were able to help their models, especially Homeless Bro, who they decide to take under their wing.
Overall, Workaholics season 2 episode 4 titled Model Kombat is a hilarious and outrageous episode that showcases the friendship between the three main characters. It is a great blend of comedy and action, and it leaves the viewer entertained and fulfilled. The episode is also a good example of the show's overall style and tone, which is irreverent, crude, and fun-loving.
