In Word World: The Series season 1 episode 10, titled "Play Ball / M Is for Map," the Word friends are ready for a fun-filled day of playing games. But when the ball they're playing with deflates, they have to use their word-building skills to create a new one. With the help of Duck, Sheep, Dog, and Ant, the team creates a ball by spelling out the word "balloon."
Later, the friends decide to play a game of pirates, but they quickly find themselves lost in a world of islands and oceans. They soon realize they need a map to find their way home. Together, they use their word-building skills to create a map, spelling out words like "island," "ocean," and "compass."
As they journey through the Word World, they come across a variety of challenges and obstacles, from rocky cliffs to stormy seas. But with their map and teamwork, they manage to overcome them all and make it back home safely.
Throughout the episode, viewers will learn a variety of new words and spelling skills as they follow the Word friends on their adventure. The show uses a unique approach to literacy education, with each character and object in the world representing a different word or phrase.
