Ep 7. Personality Plus

Alice and her co-workers in the psychiatric ward are dealing with a new patient, a woman named Fay who has dissociative identity disorder, commonly known as multiple personalities. Fay has six different personalities, each with their own name and distinct traits. Alice and her colleagues must navigate the complexities of working with someone who constantly changes personas and temperaments. Meanwhile, Alice's personal life is also in chaos as her ex-husband, Danny, continues to make their daughter's life difficult by constantly being late for pick-up and ignoring her requests for more time with him.

As Fay begins to show signs of improvement, Alice and her team start to research the origins of her disorder. They find out that Fay's mother had the same condition and died when Fay was young, which may have contributed to her developing the disorder. Alice begins to wonder if there may be a genetic link to dissociative identity disorder and if Fay's daughter may also be at risk.

The tension between Alice and Danny comes to a head when he accuses her of letting their daughter spend too much time in the hospital with her patients. Alice realizes that she needs to prioritize her family and makes a plan to spend more quality time with her daughter outside of work. At the same time, she becomes invested in helping Fay find a way to control her multiple personalities and find peace within herself.

Throughout the episode, the audience is given glimpses into each of Fay's six personalities, each with their own quirks and issues. As Fay begins to delve deeper into her past and confront the trauma that may have contributed to her disorder, she discovers new personalities and must learn to integrate them with her existing ones.
