The animated show, Wonder Pets, follows the adventures of three classroom pets - Tuck the turtle, Ming-Ming the duckling, and Linny the guinea pig - who transform into a team of superhero animals to save the day. In season 3 episode 18, titled "Save the Rock Lobster!/Help the Houseguest!", the Wonder Pets find themselves with two different missions to accomplish.
In the first half of the episode, the team receives an urgent call from a rock lobster in the ocean. He's been trapped in a plastic soda can holder and can't get himself free. The Wonder Pets hop into their flyboat and head off on their mission. Along the way, they encounter a group of sea creatures who challenge them to a dance-off in exchange for their help. The Wonder Pets bust out some fancy moves, and their new friends learn to dance too. With everyone in high spirits, they continue their journey to save the rock lobster.
Once they reach the lobster, the team studies him closely and devises a plan to free him. They'll need to pull the plastic can holder off with just the right amount of force, and Tuck is worried about hurting the lobster in the process. But with some encouragement from the others, Tuck steps up and gives it a try. To his relief, the lobster is freed, and they all celebrate with another round of dancing.
In the second half of the episode, the Wonder Pets are surprised to find a new friend waiting for them when they return to their classroom. A houseguest mouse has made himself at home, and the team is tasked with finding a way to safely get him back to his own home. They try using a paper airplane, but it doesn't quite work out. Ming-Ming then suggests they use a balloon to carry the mouse back home. The team sets to work creating a special mouse balloon, but things don't go as planned.
Despite their efforts, the balloon doesn't quite work out, and they end up floating off into the air along with the mouse. They find themselves lost in the city, with no idea how to get back home. But just when things seem bleak, they catch sight of a billboard featuring a picture of the house where the mouse is staying. With renewed hope, they follow the directions and eventually make it back to the house safe and sound.
As they say goodbye to their new friend, they reflect on their adventure and the importance of helping others. They learn that even when things don't go according to plan, they can always find a way to make a difference. With two successful missions under their belt, the Wonder Pets look to their next adventure.
