Ep 1. Mariko

In the first episode of the Wolverine Anime Series, titled "Mariko," we meet Logan (aka Wolverine), a mutant with the ability to heal quickly and retract bone-like claws from his hands. He finds himself in Tokyo, Japan, searching for his lost love, Mariko Yashida, who is the daughter of a powerful crime lord.

Shingen warns Logan that he's making a mistake by crossing him, but Logan remains resolute.

Logan and Yukio continue their search for Mariko, but they are followed by the Silver Samurai, a skilled swordsman who is also after Mariko. As they evade the Silver Samurai's attacks, Logan begins to uncover the truth about Mariko's disappearance and her father's involvement in it. Along the way, we get a glimpse into Logan's past and the experiences that have made him the tough, no-nonsense character we know and love.

As Logan gets closer to finding Mariko, he must face off against a variety of obstacles, including the deadly ninja clan known as the Hand, who are also after Mariko. He also has to deal with his own personal demons, including his complicated feelings for Mariko and his own violent tendencies.

The first episode of the Wolverine Anime Series is action-packed and full of suspense. It sets the stage for the rest of the series by introducing us to Logan's world and the challenges he'll face as he searches for Mariko. The animation is stunning, with vivid colors and intricate details that bring the world to life. The voice acting is also excellent, with Logan's gravelly growl and Yukio's playful banter adding depth to the characters.
