Ep 4. Hide and Go Hex

After tough initiation tests and enduring some tough times, episode 4 of WITS Academy, "Hide and Go Hex," picks up with Andi Cruz and her friends settling into their new roles as WITS Academy students. Andi, a former Guardian at her old school, now must work on her magical powers as a WIT, or Witch-in-training.

The focus of this episode is on the "Hex Test," a long-standing tradition at the WITS Academy. The test takes place in a large, maze-like park where each student must find a hidden crystal, guarded by a powerful hex. First, she suffers an injury, which puts her ability to perform the Hex test at risk. Andi's roommate, Jessie Novoa, who is a skilled witch, lends a helping hand, but their partnership is complicated. Jessie is unsure of where her loyalties lie, with her old group, the Witches of the Dark, or her new friends at WITS Academy.

Meanwhile, Andi's best friend, Benny, decides to team up with two classmates,Fábio and Ethan, to find the hexed crystal, despite his limited magical abilities. Fábio, who is from Brazil, has a unique magical power that he doesn't fully understand. Ethan, a former Chosen One, with healing powers, wants to prove he is more than just a "lite wizard". The three boys are mismatched, but they hope their combined talents will help them pass the Hex Test.

Another team consists of Andi's crush, Luke Archer, and his partner, Emily. The pair's bickering hints at their romantic feelings for one another and how envious Andi is of their closeness. Emily, a seer, means well, but her lack of confidence gets in the way of what they achieve.

The Hex Test is a challenging task, and each team faces its share of obstacles. Alliances are tested, and friendships are strained. Andi and Jessie's differences cast a shadow over their teamwork which might lead to the failure of the entire group. Benny, Fábio and Ethan decide to team up and search for the crystal together, unknowingly falling right into a trap. If they don't succeed quickly, it would cost them not only their freedom but more.

This episode of WITS Academy is an action-packed and exciting test of magical abilities and teamwork. It also serves as a lesson for the students at WITS Academy about the importance of trust, loyalty, and hard work when faced with challenges. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the fate of the students and their abilities to pass the test unknown.
