In the episode "In My Pocket" of Witch Hunter Robin season 1, we find the team investigating a series of murders where the victims appear to have been drained of their life force. The team begins to suspect that the culprit is a mysterious witch who can steal souls and absorb magical powers from anyone she kills. While searching for clues, one of the team members, Haruto, is attacked by the witch, and his magical powers are stolen.
Desperate to reclaim his powers and catch the killer, Haruto suggests using himself as bait to lure the witch out into the open. The team reluctantly agrees, and they set a trap for the witch. However, things don't go according to plan, and the witch manages to outsmart them. As they regroup, they discover that the witch has been working with another witch, who is now in possession of Haruto's stolen life force.
The team takes on the task of finding the second witch and reclaiming Haruto's life force before it's too late. They use their knowledge of witchcraft and magical detection to track down the second witch, who is said to be hiding in a remote location. The team sets out on a perilous journey through rugged terrain and harsh weather conditions, but they eventually find the second witch and engage her in a fierce battle.
During the battle, the team discovers that the second witch is actually a young girl who has been manipulated by the first witch into doing her bidding. With the help of their empathic abilities and gentle persuasion, the team is able to convince the young girl to turn against the first witch. The two witches engage in a final showdown, and the team is able to defeat them both.
Despite the successful outcome of the mission, the team is left reeling from the emotional toll of their battle with the two witches. They are reminded of the harsh realities of their job as witch hunters, and the dangers that come with it. Nonetheless, they vow to continue their work, protecting society from the malevolent forces of witchcraft. The episode ends on a somber note, with the team reflecting on the price they pay for keeping humanity safe from the unseen world of dark magic.
