Detective Inspector Carol Jordan and psychologist Dr. Tony Hill work together to solve a series of brutal murders that have been taking place in the town of Bradfield. In the latest episode, "The Names of Angels," the team is called in to investigate the mysterious deaths of three young women.
The victims all have one thing in common: they were all involved in an online chat group for people suffering from mental health issues. It soon becomes clear that the killer is targeting members of the group, and the team must delve into the community to find out who could be responsible.
As they interview the members of the group, Tony begins to suspect that the killer may be someone who is part of the chat community. He believes that the killer is using the forum to gain access to vulnerable victims who are more likely to trust them.
Carol and Tony's investigations lead them to a troubled young man named Simon, who has a history of mental health problems and a fascination with angels. Tony believes that Simon could be the killer, but Carol is not convinced.
Meanwhile, Carol is dealing with her own demons. She is still struggling to come to terms with the death of her brother, Michael, who was killed in the line of duty. She becomes increasingly irritable and reckless, putting herself and Tony in danger.
As the investigation heats up, the team is faced with a series of shocking revelations that threaten to turn their case upside down. And when another member of the chat group is found dead, they realize that time is running out to catch the killer before they strike again.
With twists and turns around every corner, "The Names of Angels" is a gripping episode of Wire in the Blood that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
