Joe Hackett, the owner of Sandpiper Airlines, is in trouble. He owes $10,000 to a loan shark and is told he has to pay it back within 48 hours. Desperate to find a way out of this mess, he turns to his brother Brian, a pilot and a real estate agent, for help.
Brian comes up with a plan to sell a parcel of land owned by Sandpiper to a woman named Natalie, who is willing to pay $50,000 for it. However, the catch is that she wants the deal to be closed within 24 hours. Joe is hesitant to sell the land, as it is the only thing he has to fall back on in case the airline goes bankrupt. But with no other options available, he agrees to the deal.
Meanwhile, Antonio, the Italian cook at the airport, is trying to impress Helen, the owner of the nearby lunch counter. He agrees to cook a romantic dinner for her, but things don't go as planned when he burns the food and sets off the fire alarm.
In another part of the airport, the brothers' childhood friend Roy Biggins, who owns a rival airline, is trying to one-up Joe once again. He has purchased an enormous fan and helicopter blades, and plans to use them to blow sand and other debris onto Sandpiper's runway to make it unusable. However, his plan fails when the fan breaks down.
As the clock ticks down, Joe and Brian race to close the deal with Natalie before the loan shark comes after Joe. They face multiple obstacles along the way, including Natalie's husband trying to sabotage the deal. But with the help of their friends at the airport, they manage to make the sale and pay off the loan shark just in time.
In the end, Antonio saves the day by cooking a delicious meal for Helen, and Roy is left fuming and defeated once again. Joe is relieved to have avoided financial ruin, but realizes that he needs to find a way to make Sandpiper Airlines more profitable in the long run.
Joe Blows, Part 2 is an exciting and suspenseful episode that showcases the strong bond between the brothers as well as the quirky characters of the airport. With its mix of humor and drama, it is a must-watch for fans of the show Wings.
