Joe and Brian's clashing personalities are put to the test when their long-lost half-brother Carlton arrives in Nantucket. As they get to know each other, Carlton's carefree nature and love of adventure clash with Joe's steady, responsible demeanor. Meanwhile, Lowell tries to teach Antonio how to drive, but their lessons are anything but smooth. And Helen's attempts to spice up her relationship with Davis hit a snag when he cancels their romantic weekend plans to attend a Star Trek convention. As tensions rise between Joe and Carlton, they must come to a better understanding if they hope to have a relationship as brothers.
