Will & Grace is a popular sitcom that revolves around the lives of two best friends, Will and Grace, who live together in New York City. The show follows their relationships, both romantic and platonic, with an array of colorful characters.

Season 8, episode 13, titled "Cop To It," opens with Karen telling Will and Grace about her friend, Dan, who is a police officer. She informs them that Dan is gay and desperately wants to meet a man. Will agrees to go on a double date with Karen, Dan, and himself. However, when they meet Dan at the restaurant, they realize that he is not as attractive as they thought he would be.

Meanwhile, Jack goes to court to contest a traffic ticket and meets his nemesis, Officer Stacy. The two engage in a hilarious game of one-upmanship which ultimately leads to them going on a date. As the date progresses, Jack becomes increasingly uncomfortable with the fact that Stacy is a police officer.

Back at the restaurant, Will and Grace try to set Dan up with a waiter, but after several failed attempts, Dan announces that he is leaving. Will and Grace feel guilty and decide to help Dan find someone. They come up with a plan to stage a fake robbery at the bar where Dan works, so he can be a hero and impress prospective partners.

The robbery goes according to plan, but Dan's heroics quickly turn sour when he realizes that the thief was a young homeless girl who stole for survival. Dan is deeply affected by the experience and starts questioning his role as a police officer.

As Jack and Stacy's date comes to an end, Stacy admits that she likes Jack but also misses the adrenaline rush of being a police officer. Jack, on the other hand, reveals that he has a fear of authority figures, stemming from his difficult relationship with his father. Despite their differences, the two agree to go on a second date.

The episode ends with Will and Grace comforting Dan, who is struggling with his newfound realization. They reassure him that it's okay to question his role and that he can always make a change if he needs to.

Overall, "Cop To It" is a fun and heartwarming episode that explores themes of heroism, self-discovery, and relationships. The show's talented cast delivers excellent performances, perfectly capturing the humor and emotional beats of the script. Fans of Will & Grace will surely enjoy this episode.
