In season two episode three of the MTV reality show Wildboyz, hosts Chris Pontius and Steve-O travel to Kenya to experience the wild and untamed nature of the African savannah. The episode opens with the gang arriving at their campsite, situated within a large elephant migration route. The hosts immediately get to grips with their new surroundings, exploring the surrounding area and interacting with the local wildlife.
The Wildboyz first encounter a group of vervet monkeys, who are known for their mischievous and playful nature. Unable to resist the opportunity to play with the primates, Chris and Steve-O chase after them, causing chaos as they pass through the campsite. Despite the hosts' best efforts to bond with the monkeys, they soon learn that these animals are not to be underestimated; the vervets quickly turn on them, stealing their food and causing more mayhem than the Wildboyz anticipated.
The hosts then set out on a game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in Africa. Here, they come face to face with a number of the most impressive and dangerous animals on the continent, including lions, cheetahs, and elephants. The Wildboyz observe these majestic creatures from a safe distance, but things take a turn when they encounter a wild buffalo who takes exception to their presence.
As the day wears on, the hosts begin to suffer from the intense heat and dehydration. Seeking respite from the sun, they take a dip in a nearby waterfall where they come into contact with a group of local tribesmen. The Maasai people are known for their close relationship with the wildlife in the area, and they are eager to share their knowledge and culture with Chris and Steve-O. The Wildboyz are treated to a traditional dance performance and a lesson in the Maasai way of life, giving them a unique insight into this remote and fascinating culture.
The next day, the Wildboyz take to the skies, joining a group of conservationists on a mission to capture and relocate a group of endangered African wild dogs. The operation is a delicate one; the team must work quickly and carefully to capture the dogs without harming them. Chris and Steve-O are put to work helping the conservationists with the relocation, providing a thrilling insight into the difficult work of wildlife conservation.
Throughout the episode, the hosts share their experiences and provide a humorous and irreverent commentary on their adventures. The show combines unscripted moments of wildlife interaction with carefully planned missions to create a unique and entertaining viewing experience that appeals to both nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. With stunning footage of some of Africa's most iconic animals and a healthy dose of Chris and Steve-O's trademark humor, this episode is a must-watch for anyone seeking an entertaining and educational slice of reality TV.
