Ep 3. Stuck on Sharks

The Wild Kratts brothers, Chris and Martin, are back with another exciting adventure in season 1 episode 3 of Wild Kratts, Wet and Wild Adventures. Titled "Stuck on Sharks", the episode takes place in the deep blue sea where the brothers set their sights on getting up close and personal with one of the most mysterious creatures of the ocean - the shark.

Now stuck on the back of a great white shark, the two brothers soon realize that they are in for a wild and wet ride. But not all is well with the shark, as they discover that it has a problem with its dorsal fin, which is causing it pain and preventing the shark from swimming properly. As always, Chris and Martin rise to the challenge and vow to help the shark in any way they can.

Their first step is to name the shark "Cresco", which means "to grow" in Latin, hoping that with their help, the shark will regain its full range of motion. Without any equipment or tools at their disposal, the brothers must come up with creative ways to treat Cresco's injury. They make an underwater bandage out of kelp and use a sleeping bag to create a makeshift sling to support the shark's dorsal fin. The makeshift bandage works and Cresco's pain subsides. Now, with Cresco able to swim freely, Chris and Martin hop aboard the shark and are once again on their way.

While riding Cresco, Chris and Martin continue to observe and learn about the behavior and anatomy of great white sharks. They show how these animals are important for maintaining a healthy ecosystem in the ocean and how their role has been misunderstood by humans. They also show how, despite their reputation, sharks are not mindless killing machines and are instead intelligent, cautious animals that prefer to avoid humans.

During their journey, the brothers also encounter other sea creatures such as sea turtles, stingrays, and even a school of flying fish. They discuss their unique abilities and how they have evolved to survive in their underwater environments.
