As the season begins to wind down, the crews on Wicked Tuna are more determined than ever to catch the biggest fish and make the most profit. In episode 13, "Chasin' the Bite," the pressure is on as the fishermen battle both the elements and each other to land a catch that will secure their place at the top of the leaderboard.
First up is the crew of the Pinwheel, led by Captain Tyler McLaughlin. With two fish already on the board, Tyler is feeling confident but knows that one big catch could put them in first place. He sets his sights on a spot he knows is teeming with bluefin tuna and heads out to sea with his crew. But the weather is not on their side, and with high winds and rough seas, it's a long and difficult journey. When they finally arrive at their destination, they quickly get to work, dropping their lines in the hopes of catching a monster tuna. With the clock ticking, Tyler and his crew work tirelessly to bring in a catch that will make all their efforts worth it.
Meanwhile, on the Hot Tuna, Captain TJ Ott is feeling the pressure to catch up to the other boats. With just one fish on the leaderboard, he knows that he needs to land a big one if he wants to stay in the game. He decides to try a new technique in the hopes of attracting more fish to his boat, but it's a risky move that could cost him valuable time. With his crew by his side, he casts his line and waits anxiously for a bite. As the hours tick by, TJ begins to wonder if his gamble will pay off.
Over on the FV-Tuna.Com, Captain Dave Marciano and his crew are focused on catching the most fish possible. With a comfortable lead on the leaderboard, they know that they can't take their foot off the gas. They head out to a spot known for its large schools of bluefin tuna, but when they arrive, they find that they're not alone. Several other boats are already fishing in the area, and the competition is fierce. Undeterred, Dave and his crew get to work, using all their experience and skill to bring in as many fish as possible before the other boats clean out the area.
Finally, on the Wicked Pissah, Captain Paul Hebert is feeling the strain of a long season. With only a few more days left to fish, he's determined to land a catch that will put him in contention for the top spot. He sets his sights on a spot he's had success in the past and heads out with his crew. But when they arrive, they find that the area is unusually quiet. Paul begins to worry that he's made a mistake, but he refuses to give up. With his crew by his side, he stays focused and determined, casting his line again and again in the hope of landing a fish that will make all their efforts worthwhile.
As the episode draws to a close, the crews on Wicked Tuna are exhausted but determined. With just a few more days left to fish, they know that every catch could make the difference between winning and losing. The competition is fierce, and the stakes are higher than ever. Will one of the crews land a catch that secures their place at the top of the leaderboard, or will they all fall short in their quest to catch the biggest fish of the season? Find out in "Chasin' the Bite," the latest episode of Wicked Tuna.
