Ep 9. Hog Tied

In Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks season 8 episode 9, titled Hog Tied, the competition between the captains reaches new heights as the fishing season enters its final stretch.

Captain Tyler McLaughlin of the Pinwheel continues to hold the top spot on the leaderboard, but his lead is far from secure. Close behind him are the captains of the Reels of Fortune, the Hard Merchandise, and the Southern Wind, all of whom are determined to land the catch that will propel them to victory.

Meanwhile, Captain Greg Mayer of the Fishin' Frenzy is facing a major setback. After hooking a massive bluefin tuna, he discovers that the fish is completely entangled in rope and can't be brought aboard the boat. With time running out, Greg and his crew must find a way to cut the fish loose before it's too late.

As the clock winds down on the season, the pressure to make a big catch is greater than ever. Each captain must navigate treacherous waters and outmaneuver their rivals in order to emerge as the ultimate champion.
